We invite you to tour the Heurich House Museum!
Event Details
Explore the lives of turn of the century Washingtonians on a tour of the historic home of brewer and immigrant Christian Heurich.
Step back in time to the year 1894, and see things from the eyes of household staff, Heurich brewery workers, the craftspeople who built his home, the brewer himself, and his wife Amelia. Afterwards, grab a Senate Beer - the historically accurate revival of the brand that ruled DC for 100 years - at the museum’s backyard biergarten.
Pre-registration Required:
Large purses, backpacks, and totes are not permitted on the tour, but may be stored in the carriage house.
No children under 10 years of age
All visitors are required to remain masked while indoors
Proof of vaccination required
Check in at Heurich House Museum Carriage House. Enter property through the front garden gate at 1307 New Hampshire Avenue NW.
Tours leave at the exact listed start time and last approximately one (1) hour. If you arrive after the tour’s start time, you will not be admitted. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The Heurich House Museum requires full vaccination against COVID-19 for entry to our indoor spaces. Exceptions will only be made for children under 12 and those with qualifying medical conditions preventing them from being vaccinated.
Valid forms of proof of full vaccination include a vaccination card, clear photo/photocopy of vaccination card, or official App.If you have a qualifying medical exemption, please email info@heurichhouse.org at least 48 hours in advance.
