Metropolitan area, and give audiences a glimpse at the next generation of musicians. This competition is a staple program of Washington Performing Arts that allows the organization to provide opportunities to budding musicians.

National Gallery of Art, West Building, West Garden Court
Concerts at the National Gallery are open to the public, free of charge. Audience is admitted on a first-come, first-served basis 30 minutes before the concert begins.

About the competition: For students who study violin, viola, cello, or bass, this competition develops confidence and focus for budding musicians as they compete for monetary prizes, awards for private lessons, and tuition support for summer and pre-college music programs.
