The Sadie Tanner conference is a one-day conference in the DC Area that aims to diversify economics and economic-related fields through the education, community, and mentorship of Black women.
Attendees will hear from established and emerging economists through panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities throughout the day. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided for all attendees.
We encourage Black female undergraduates majoring in public policy, mathematics, statistics, or economics to attend. Furthermore, we also invite Black female professors, professionals, and post-baccalaureate students.
NOTE: There is limited space for this conference, and we would love to have as many black female economists and aspiring economists attend. If you are interested in our initiatve and would like to get involved, please visit our website: sadietannerconference.org.
