Join your ambulatory, school nurses, and outpatient colleagues in attending the Children’s National Health System upcoming conference: What’s Trending in the Ambulatory Setting? Nursing Conference 2019.
The conference promises to offer you an opportunity to discover new knowledge and skills regarding your professional practice, collaborate across practice settings, and network with peers.
Teaching strategies for this conference include didactic and rapid fire presentations, simulation exercises, case scenario review, panel discussions, question and answer sessions, and poster presentations.
Our keynote speaker, Dr. Mark Weissman, will start our day of scholarship discussing the pioneering ambulatory care delivery model entitled Clinically Integrated Care in the Ambulatory Arena.
Additional conference topics include Trauma Informed Care, Diabetes Update, Cutting Edge Migraine Therapy, Orthopedic Innovations, Infusion Medicine 2018, Telehealth Nurse Practice, Ambulatory Legal Concerns Forum, and Mindfulness for the Care Provider.
Simulation events allow for hands on experiences with G-tubes, central lines, patient portal, and tracheostomies.
Poster presentations for viewing include the topics of AIDET, Autism Care, and more.
Children’s National Medical Center is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Nurses will be awarded contact hours for participation in this 1-day conference.
