Art of Adulting LLC, best known for the social experiment “Airplane Mode” is an event planning group based out of the Washington D.C. metro area.  In the era of social media, community-driven platforms and dating apps have changed the way we interact and perceive the world around us.  We are all so connected, yet disconnected at the same time. The creators of AOA saw a need for a new type of event for young professionals and creators in the area, a break from the norm.  Our events cultivate a nostalgic environment, where likeminded people are encouraged to put their phones away and have real, genuine interactions.  Visual art, games, an eclectic, soulful mix of music, and other surprises, all play a part in pulling our attendees into the present moment.  The energy you feel and memories you create at an event hosted by AOA will be unlike anything you have experienced in while.
