Event Details

For the first time, WHC's LGBTQ+ affinity group and our 2239 young professionals are teaming up for a very special event, and everyone is welcome! Regardless of age, how you identify, or if you've ever been to a 2239 service before, YOU are invited to this meaningful evening where we will reflect on the diversity in our own WHC Jewish community, show support for our LGBTQ+ loved ones, and come together for a beautiful Shabbat service layered with music, passion, and love.

We will start the night with an outdoor happy hour, including appetizers and yard games, as we revel in the summer weather and kick off Pride celebrations. Then we'll head to the Chapel for Kabbalat Shabbat followed by a delicious meal and s'mores around our fire pits!

Allies of the community are welcome and encouraged to join us. Please spread the word to anyone you know who identifies as LGBTQ+ and may be looking for acceptance and community within a Jewish context.

If cost is a barrier for any reason, please be in touch -- we're always happy to work something out.

Can't wait to see you there!
