Our new partnership with the French Embassy allows us to use their gorgeous light-filled event venue and offer delicious new chocolate sampling and education opportunities!
This event seeks to bring together both chocolate makers and chocolate enthusiasts for a day of tastings, educational micro workshops, and a keynote address. The DC Chocolate Festival features incredible chocolate confections, treats, beverages, and craft chocolate bars from across the local area and the world!

FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This is a 100% ID Check for this event! The DC Chocolate Festival is taking place at La Maison Française, The French Embassy, and as such ALL attendees must be ticketed and have proof of ID that matches their ticket. There is no minimum age requirement, this is a family friendly event! Kids 12+ will need to have a separate ticket.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate visitors in the Embassy parking lot. However, there is substantial space to park on the Embassy's street, Reservoir Road.
We recommend bus, carpooling, biking or ridesharing.
If you catch the bus to the Metro Embassy, two Metro Bus lines, D2 & D6, are available. D6 will take you right to the main gate and D2, half a mile away.
What can I bring into the event?
Please bring your appetite for chocolate! Other than that - pack light.
Please be advised that for security reasons, Embassy staff and security services cannot allow large bags or backpacks to be brought onto Embassy grounds. Any large bags will be confiscated at the entrance gate before the owner can be granted entry.
