On Friday, June 15th a portion of proceeds will be going to support The Campus Kitchens Project! The Campus Kitchens Project brings DC Central Kitchen’s community meals model to a national scale by empowering students to fight food waste and hunger on over 60 high school and college campuses across the country. Student volunteers with The Campus Kitchens Project transform unused food from dining halls, grocery stores, restaurants, and farmers’ markets into meals that are delivered to local agencies serving those in need.
On Friday, June 22nd we'll have free mini-salads from sweetgreen!
On Friday, June 29th we'll have live music from the Blue Dot Jazz Troupe!
On Friday, September 21st a portion of proceeds will be going to support DC Central Kitchen! As the nation’s first and leading community kitchen, DC Central Kitchen develops and operates social ventures targeting the cycle of hunger and poverty. The organization’s life-changing ventures provide culinary training to jobless adults, turn wasted food into balanced meals for shelters and nonprofits, expand access to healthy food, and provide healthy, scratch-cooked meals in low-income schools.
