Goodwill of Greater Washington/Finding Your Good, Transformation Junkies and DC Public Library are excited to join forces for a FREE evening of creativity at Adams Morgan Community Center at the LINE DC!
Event Details
This event will be centered around all things DIY, sustainability, and doing good in DC! ♻
Event Programming includes:
? Finding Your Good and Goodwill of Greater Washington will be hosting a Decorate-Your-Own Denim Bar station, inviting the public to bring or purchase denim (at Goodwill prices) or bring their own denim for transformation! Paints and doodads will be available for usage in upcycling, along with a selection of denim wear, curated by Goodwill! Goodwill will also be showcasing DIY Denim creations from students from its public charter high school, the Goodwill Excel Center DC.
? Tim Kime Art will be providing inspiration and tips on ways to upcycle all types of denim.
? A FREE No-Sew Workshop with Evan Ibrahim, the up-and-coming upcycling fashion designer who created gowns for the Hirshhorn Ball
? DC Public Library will be offering a button-maker, inspiring literature, and other materials to help with transforming denim.
