Event Details
Points count towards our Year-Long 5k, 10k, & Back of the Pack Series. Points will also count towards our Winter Series. Find more info about the series here.

Bobbie's Pit Bull Rescue and Sanctuary is a registered non-profit, all volunteer organization working to rescue, protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned and homeless Pit Bull Type Dogs, to rehabilitate and finally find suitable homes so they can live long and happy lives. Our rescue is funded by donations only.
Our goal is to bring awareness to the public through targeted education and community outreach activities in the VA, DC and MD areas and act as a resource to our community. We are promoting responsible pet ownership and are offering help to low income families or homeless individuals by providing assistance with medical care, spay and neuter, vaccination/preventatives and housing and nutrition
Come out and enjoy this scenic, flat 5k & 10k in the heart of DC near the Nation’s Capital.
Walkers and strollers are welcome to attend this event.
Now offering a virtual run option for those who cannot make it on race day. You will receive a medal
Want to upgrade your technical short sleeve shirt to a long sleeve tech shirt or hooded sweatshirt? Just add the option to your cart during checkout. This option closes on our guaranteed t-shirt cutoff date 12 days before the event.
Race Start Times
10k - 7:45am
5k - 8am
Registration Fees
5k – $25, until November 15 ($30)
10k – $40, until November 15 ($45)
***Price will increase on race morning by $5 for each distance
T-shirts guaranteed to runners registered before November 16. We will order extra t-shirts for those who register after that date, but it is on a first-come first-served basis.

There will NOT be race day registration. The park service does not allow it.
Parking
For parking, there are several parking spaces around Hains Point. Use the GPS address for directions to the Start line (972 Ohio Dr SW, Washington, DC 20024).
