What interventions work best for families who experience homelessness? In this talk, Michelle Wood, Daniel Gubits, and Samuel Dastrup of Abt Associates will describe results from the HUD-funded Family Options Study. This study used a rigorous evaluation design to examine what housing and service interventions (including long-term rent subsidies, short-term rent subsidies, and transitional housing) work best to reduce homelessness for families in the United States.
